Description
Neil Mac Leod Safaris was founded in Namibia in 1992 and operated in Botswana, Zimbabwe, but mainly Namibia. In 1999 the company spread its wings to South Africa where it trades as SafariWise (South Africa).
This step was essential to accommodate a growing eco-tourism market for South Africa. SafariWise (South Africa) is owned by Johan Van Tonder and co-owned by Neil Mac Leod. Johan and Neil lead most tours in southern Africa and only use expert guides for safaris when they are not available. However in order to maintain the high quality holidays/safaris, for which they are known, limited safaris are offered per year.
