- A group of disgruntled families felt that an alternative should be given to the youth here in the state of Michigan that wanted to participate in equestrian sports as a team. Be it to represent their schools, their hometowns, or just their own group of youth that formed a team there should be a choice of what to belong to. MIHA being the leader of equestrian teams here in Michigan left a lot to be desired, so came the idea of forming a new and better organization that would benefit the youth that work so hard to be a part of an equestrian team organization.
