Maggie's Place bed and breakfast accommodation, Waipu, Northland New Zealand

Opening our home for accommodation here in Waipu just seemed the right thing to do as a flow on from hosting overseas students and sporting people, while involved with our children's chosen sports. This mainly being water polo, where I was the NZ Woman's Manager for 5 years.
I like renovating furniture, creating new from old, making produce from the garden into jams pickles or chutneys. I am an out doors person, not only enjoying the above but also
In 1999 we left Auckland to live here permanently. Before settling down we packed our packs, a 2-man tent and travelled overseas for 5 months.
