One of the unfortunate things about magic publishing is that, due to it's primarily cottage industry business model, an amazing number of books have been lost to the ages over the years due to small print runs, limited distribution and other contributing factors. Countless titles now only exist in the libraries of collectors with many never to be seen again by the larger magic community. This is, of course, a much greater tragedy when the books in question contain usable, commercial material that will never see the light of day unless it's inadvertently reinvented.
