Title

Mainholm Lodge - Quality Accommodation in West Otago New Zealand

Description

Mainholm Lodge was built about 1907 for the Dickison family, to replace an earlier homestead which had been destroyed by fire. It took four years to complete this double and triple brick home.

Mainholm Lodge is in it's original state, with white plaster walls and wooden trimmings. All of the wood trimmings were painted to resemble walnut and oak and main interiors are still in original condition with little or no alteration to the the paintwork or friezes.

Upstairs, Mainholm Lodge has four bedrooms, all with 12ft (4.3m) high ceilings, white plaster walls and with all original friezes above all picture rails. Each room has it's own TV, video, fireplace and tea/coffee making facilities. There are two bathrooms in the Lodge. Guests share these, towelling robes are in your room for your convenience.
