- The Main Pub Restaurant (originally called the Main Pub Tavern) was established in June of 1980 by Glenn and Mary Beaulieu. At that time the Pub was only 14 feet wide and 50 feet long. Today the original outdoor sign hangs in the bar area. We were only able to serve beer as that was what a Tavern license allowed. Within a year of opening, a restaurant liquor license was acquired, which enabled us to sell wine and liquor. During the following year of our newly acquired license, we then expanded and rented the next-door space which was a vacuum cleaner sales and service store, which is now our present dining room.
