Description
Since April 2001, Massroads.com, Granitehighways.com and Mainehighways.com have featured scenic and ground transportation infrastructure photography within New England. I concentrate on photographing bridges, railroad equipment, roads, energy and industrial infrastructure, big signs and unusual buildings, and anything else interesting I find along the way.
I take frequent theme-minded photo trips to gather interesting pictures and then I process the digital images immediately after returning home.
The National Bridge Inventory data for all 50 states is available here at Nationalbridges.com and made accessible through my online analysis query. I obtain the National Bridge Inventory database from the Federal Highway Administration each year and I convert it to a relational MySQL database for online use on my websites.
