The Malthouse Theatre Trust was formed in 1998 to take over the business and administration aspects of the Malthouse and the cottage next door. This task had previously been carried out by the Children's Theatre Inc. committee. Taking the administration of the building away left the committee more able to do what they do best - theatrical productions.
