Description
Bluewater first opened it's doors on August 10th of 1987 on a little private lake in a sleepy township called Mariaville, N.Y. We started out selling small sailboats known as "Snarks".
These small crafts hulls were made entirely of compressed styrofoam and encapsulated in fiberglass which, of course, rendered them absolutely unsinkable. They were inexpensive, easily transportable and the ultimate "fun" daysailer.
From Mariaville Lake we moved to our present location on Oneida Lake in Bridgeport, N.Y. in 1991 at which time we began handling Nautical Videos.
