- At least for me, since the husband and the princess always go carbooting together. It was a hot day to go out, but I decided to do something that I had avoided throughout the year : going to boot sale. When I was back in the States, me and my housemate, Jue, would tagged along some seniors (them and their families) to go to garage sales. We would buy Friday papers, then we would check up ads for garage sales in affluent areas. This trick was taught by a senior who loved to go on scavenger hunts on these trips. Then we would look up the maps, and plan the day. Well, usually they did, and we tagged along, as I mentioned earlier. And they did this week in and week out, without fail. And I must admit, you really could catch a bargain at these sales.
