The Martehotels.net portal is managed by Marte srl, an Italian company with head offices in Verona. The on-line hotel booking services of Martehotels.net were set up in 2003. We started off as a booking portal only for hotels in Verona and its province, and then, in December 2004, we began the adventure on a national level.

It was Stefano Montresor's idea to create a great machine serving all Italian accommodation units. After 30 years of experience as a proprietor of a hotel chain in Verona, Stefano Montresor, the boss, tried to create a necessary, adequate service for hotels, B&Bs, Residences and Farm Holiday locations throughout Italy.

Thanks to the professional co-operation provided by Web Manager Carloalberto Baroni, who is the head of Muneri.com, a leading web promotion company, Marte srl became a national force in just three years. Now we can count on more than 10,000 hotels etc., 5,000 tied firms and bout 3,000 affiliated travel agencies.
