Intriguing Martinique traditions, such as the famed Zouk music that has gained popularity in Europe, are sure to enthrall you; just like the beguine, an Afro-French dance that originated here. Of course, you can always indulge to your heart’s content in some typically Caribbean pursuits such as snorkeling, around Grand Anse and Sainte Anne. You can even get in some hiking, for the island does offer some fine trails owing to its volcanic mountainous terrain.
