I am a third generation master bookbinder that has personally repaired all types of books for over 35 years. I specialize in conservation restoration when repairing books. I try to keep everything as original as possible. I put your book back together the way it was originally made.
With our choices of beautiful leather, buckram and book cloths my custom made books are unique.
What makes my business unique is that for large jobs I can bring my bindery plant to your location. This is most helpful for clients who have books in use that cannot leave the premises. Much of my work has been in Ohio and Indiana court houses where the books, by law, cannot be removed from the offices.
I use the “old school” method of bookbinding. This means that all work is done individually by hand. I offer many options for repair from a single page replaced to an complete rebuild.
My pricing is very competitive and my work reflects the finest quality craftsmanship. I love working with books and have had the privilege to work on books well over 200 years old during my career.
