The Muscogee County School District is recognized as among the best in the Central Georgia Region. All Muscogee County schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and have met the standards of the Georgia Board of Education. The students in our school system are not only supported with the best facilities and equipment, but also by excellent teachers, involved parents, and an active business community. More than 60 percent of the district’s teachers have Master’s degrees or higher. Our faculty has an average of 16 years teaching experience. The student-teacher ratio meets or exceeds the minimum standards of both the Georgia Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
All students have access to computers and the Internet. Internet access is in compliance with CIPA and COPA requirements. Staff development programs help teachers integrate technology into the curriculum.
This curriculum provides opportunities for all students to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes about citizenship and respect for others and for self.
