Therese founded McShane Professional Search, LLC, realizing that there was a strong need for an executive recruiter who could effectively identify the right administrative individuals to support high level executives in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Therese also believed that she could provide a more personalized quality of service to administrative professionals who desired to advance their careers. This specially designed service remains unmatched by any other recruiting firm.
Therese received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from the Wayne State University School of Business.
Therese McShane began her Human Resources career in 1983 at Chevrolet Detroit Gear & Axle (now known as American Axle & Manufacturing). During her tenure, she held positions within Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Workers Compensation, and Salaried Administration as well as acting as a Production Supervisor. This hands-on HR experience gave Therese a solid understanding of the dynamics within a corporate setting that guide hiring decisions.
