Welcome to Milpitas Christian Schools

I am driven by the passion to create an environment where children can learn. My mom was a teacher, and I have known since high school that I wanted to work with children. My 23 years as as a school principal of a K-12 school were part of the Lord's training program for my current position. I have been pleased and blessed to work with the exceptional teachers and staff of MCS. The quality and depth of the education here is remarkable.
As founder of Milpitas Christian School, I worked for one year on the process of getting the school ready for opening day in 1974. While serving as director of the pre-school, I taught 3 and 4 year olds. I taught kindergarten for 5 years while serving as administrator for pre-school, kindergarten, and later first through fifth grades. When MCS moved to the Birchwood campus in 1985 I taught computer classes and served as principal of the elementary and grouping middle school. I am blessed to be serving in the capacity to this day. It is a blessing to be called to serve God in a place that assists families and churches in nurturing children in all aspects of their growth. I can think of no more fulfilling calling than working with children to help them become what God created them to be.
I enjoyed being with children at a fairly young age. I always wanted to work with them, making a difference in their lives, and thereby in the world. It is a truly rewarding profession, and children bring such joy to my life.
