About Memories in Uniform
Memories in Uniform was conceived in May 2002 as a webstore dedicated to military theme scrapbook products. Fast forward to July 2003 and we are now a wholesale only company specializing in sophisticated military laser designs. It was a difficult decision to leave retailing behind, but one we felt would ultimately benefit our customers in the end. As a manufacturer, we are thrilled to be able to provide the scrapbook world a new kind of military product for their albums. Tom, MIU designer
Tom recently resigned from active duty Navy and is currently in transition to the Air Force reserve (the only services he hasn't tried are Coast Guard and Marine Corps!). He holds a BS in industrial design from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA (Go Vikings!)- this is where Amy & Tom met and married 10 years ago! Being able to use his artistic ability while still serving his country in the Air Force is a treat for Tom.
Amy, president of MIU
Amy has been scrapbooking for over 9 years- (longer if you count all the years of construction paper and non-acid free products!) Amy also graduated from Western with a BA in Human Services — a subject that will stay near and dear for life! Being a wife, mom, and president of a growing company has created unique challenges for her, but she'll be the first to tell you how much she enjoys all of her jobs!
