Description
Mendocino Coast Humane Society is a “No-kill Shelter” serving the Mendocino Coast. This means that we care for and find homes for healthy, adoptable animals. See where we started and where we plan to go - Vision.
MCHS established the John Oliver Spay/Neuter Fund. This program provides financial assistance to Mendocino County residents who want their dogs spayed or neutered. The MCHS thanks the Thelma Doelger Charitable Trust for their support of this program.
Pet Food Bank: This is a new Program for 2003. This Program provides Cat and Dog food for hungry pets. Coupons will be given for a bag of food. The pet food will be available for those with valid coupons at Fort Bragg Feed and The Ark in Fort Bragg and the Mendocino Market and Deli in Mendocino. The Pet Food Bank is working with several different local organizations, but is funded by MCHS. Donations may be made to the Pet Food Fund through MCHS; please indicate that your donation is for Pet Food Bank.
