Thursday through Sunday, April 27th - 30th. Gates will open at 3:00 pm on Thursday and at 8:00 am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors should refer to the Stage Schedules link on the home page for specific artist performance schedules.
2006 Wilkes Community College should near completion of our new science and technology building in the spring of 2006. This four story, 30,000 square foot structure will include new biology, chemistry, physics, and computer labs and cyber classrooms and serve as a bridge between upper and lower campuses. We can all take pride in the large contribution that MerleFest has made toward this outstanding facility. Our very popular Hillside stage, sponsored by D’Addario, will remain where it was in 2005 in the hollow just above the construction site.
This March, we plan to release a CD titled Fresh Faces at MerleFest 2006. This project compiles the finest previously recorded performances by artists making their debut this year. It will be available online at www.mfstore.org, or by calling 1-800-871-2738.
