-malin.org was set up by two people, one who could cycle well, the other could not. The one that could cycle thought of going from Mizen Head to Malin Head. The one that could not cycle said that he would follow in a car to help etc. There are now a few other people to cycle, to help on the journey and to collect money before and during the event.
Doing the cycle ride was the initial aim, but why do it for nothing when money could be collected for charity. The money collected will be used for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Irish Cancer Society after a bit of thought on our part.
We hope to make this an annual event, promote a cycle ride for charity from Mizen to Malin or vice versa.
