Miles Kelly Publishing is an independent children’s publishing company founded by Jim Miles and Gerard Kelly in 1996. Based in the village of Great Bardfield in Essex, UK, its books are available throughout the world in over 50 languages. Miles Kelly’s trademarks are superb photo-realistic artwork, great design values in layouts and covers, and well-written text suited to children between the ages of 7 and 12 years. Above all its remit has been to make its top-quality books enjoyable, attractive and useful to its wide readership.
The range of titles produced by Miles Kelly is wide and varied. There are over 500 titles – encyclopedias, reference series, quiz books, dictionaries, atlases, handbooks, fact books, poetry, fiction, novelty books and much more. And the list continues to grow.
Since 1996 Miles Kelly has produced books for other publishers. In total it has created over 200 titles for 15 different publishing companies in the UK and US. Miles Kelly is currently working on the third Ripley’s Believe it or Not title.
