Mind delivers development, technical consulting, tool chains, training and support for Linux, eCos and DSP on embedded systems. Mind has a number of specialized engineers in Leuven, Belgium and serves customers over Europe, USA and Asia. Mind executed a large number of successful projects for large and medium-sized companies in telecom, consumer electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, industrial control ... Mind is partnering with Intel, Xilinx, Silica-Avnet, Avnet-Memec and supports the core CPU lines of these partners.
At project start, Mind can help with a critical review of the proposed system architecture. This review is typically fairly short, but can save a lot of time, money and frustration during the following implementation phase. Once the architecture is clear, Mind can help with an efficient implementation of an Embedded Linux or eCos platform and the different (wired and wireless) networking stacks on the new embedded system. For very small footprint systems, Mind can also develop boot loaders and operational code directly on the hardware, without operating system.
Mind also delivers the tool chains (based on GNU and mainly targeted at ARM, Xscale, PowerPC, MIPS and x86) and will make sure these tool chains cooperate fluently with the development environment already in place at the customer. The technical development and support is based on experience from executing a large number of embedded Linux, eCos and networking projects.
