About Us
Minuteman Senior Services is a non-profit organization that has been helping elders and their family caregivers in Massachusetts locate appropriate eldercare assistance since 1975. With a talented staff of seventy-five, fifty subcontracted agencies and over five hundred dedicated volunteers, we offer a broad range of expertise and experience in meeting long term care needs in the home or residential situations. Our specialty is in helping people find practical solutions to long term care issues that fit within the family’s resources. Last year over 16,000 people turned to Minuteman Senior Services for help.
Satisfaction surveys of our clients and referrals sources consistently rate us highly. We especially take pride in the fact that 100% of the professionals who refer to Minuteman Senior Services said they would recommend us to their family and friends.
As a designated federal Area Agency on Aging and Massachusetts Aging Service Access Point, Minuteman manages over $6 million in public and private funds for eldercare programs. We are grateful for the donations of individuals, businesses and foundations which have for many years shown their confidence in our work by their generous support.
