Description
Born in 1984 in Zagreb (the capital of Croatia). Finished both High Schools in Zagreb and Pennsylvania, U.S.A. I'm currently studying Electrical Engineering in Zagreb. Recently I finished attending Cisco Networking Academy and soon will be applying for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) certificate. Almost anywhere in the world Cisco Systems, Inc. is recognized as the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet. It is also worth mentioning that the Academy I was attending got a prestige title "Local academy of the year 2005" at Valencia Cisco Academy Conference for EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) which consists of 3611 Academies!
In 5’th grade I started track & field (high jump and long jump) in middle school with a help of a very good athlete teacher Mr. Popovic who is a well known artist in Croatia too. Two years later, in 7’th grade, joined a well known athlete club Zrinjevac. My best (nationwide) scores were 18’th place on HAS "TOP 20 IN 1998" for High Jump and 3'rd place on HAS "National Clubs Cup for Boys and Girls (U'16)" for High Jump in 1999. I finished my professional carrier in 2001 before I went to the states. HAS (Hrvatski Atletski Savez) stands for Croatian Athletic Federation.
Although I had many hobbies and activities, probably the most interesting and exciting one was scuba diving. I started scuba diving in July 2002 when I finished my Padi (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) "Open Water Diver" course in Mihuric centre in Selce. When I get enough experience I'm planning on taking the "Advanced Open Water Diver" course which expands my license to the depth of 40 meters. My other hobby is photography which I discovered when I was 16 while being in the states. Sometime in the future I'm hoping on combining those two passions and getting into underwater photography... :-)
