JOBE Ranch, home of Missouri Alpacas, began as a “thought” in 2003; What can we do with our acreage that will provide a tax benefit as well as a future income? We were currently both working full time at our computer/internet business and were reaching our 15 year anniversary there. It was time to start thinking about transitioning from that hectic lifestyle to something more relaxing. The plan had to include something that would also provide for our retirement in the years to come.
