Reporting to you live from CeBIT Hannover - actually, there's really not much to talk about... apart from the brief-but-personal experiences I had with the various products that have yet to make it to market.

What brings excitement to us guys, which we would try and pass that on to our readers also, are product announcements. This year, the number of these have hit a new low - one that's very close to zero. Yep... everything *new* were either announced during or around 3GSM time, or just before this year's CeBIT event.

Why? Well, the "Ce" in CeBIT does spell 'consumer electronics' - and this yearly show has certainly become one that's more for the end consumer to visit and sample what's in store for them in the coming months. And this change is very evident in the past 2-3 years...
