Mobibase was created in 2002 by Laurent Sarver and Vincent Roger. Mobibase has today become the leader platform in content dedicated to mobile, in particular visual content (wallpapers, screensavers, themes, Flash Lite and videos). Mobibase’s foundation is based on the conviction that the emergence of a unique mobile world, as for other medias, goes through images. Confronted on one side to a very large and burst images content and on the other side to mobile needs different to those of other medias, Mobibase has a vocation of giving a selection of content, services and technology to accompany big publishers of the sector.
Laurent Sarver and Vincent Roger, the two founders of Mobibase, each have the advantages of a strong and complementary experience. Laurent as former manager and founder of Creanet, French leader in audiotel hosting services, perfectly masters the keys of web and online marketing. Vincent as former telecom consultant in CSC Peat Marwick and author of the book “ Le Marketing du Multimédia Mobile” (Eyrolles publishing) has a good knowledge of the mobile world. With his former experience in a Licensing company in Japan, he has succeeded in creating a strong catalogue.
Since its creation, Mobibase’s development is based on a strong catalogue dynamic. Today we have more than 330 right owners based in 30 countries and more than 50,000 contents. This has allowed Mobibase, with a voluntarist wap policy, to become one of the first wap sites publishers in France with a lot of successful deployments in Europe and Asia. A continual effort in technological development gives Mobibase the possibility of proposing to its property owning clients the creation of their B2B mobile catalogue and to take care of the delivery of the content. Many brands have chosen Mobibase to accompany them in their mobile projects creation. Mobibase is now entering the mobile TV era with a Mobile TV Solution program and production of mobile dedicated channels.
