My name is Carlos and my wife's name is Melida. We are backpackers and adventure travelers at heart that have traveled around much of the globe by foot and bike ourselves. We searched for years looking for just the right place to start this business and in Santa Cruz, Venezuela we feel we've found a magic zone. Just close enough to transportation to be practical, yet far enough away to feel lost in a land of adventure.
Most diving and eco-tour destinations are beautiful yet often times the above ground operations lack a certain level of authenticity. Those unique flavors that made the location sought after by early travelers just aren't around anymore. That is not what has happened here. Locals have not been replaced by western tour agencies and our guides keep groups as small as possible so that we can all have some fun. That was and still is our primary intent.
