They said that in the past, they had always made it their oldest unmarried child, because they had seen so many cases where the spouse had caused problems through greed or unwise investments “on behalf of” the family. However, they said that having seen our financial knowledge grow, and having seen Mr. MoneyDummy’s absolute integrity and his caution where money is concerned, they wanted us to be in charge of things if the worst happened. Our instructions are simple: provide for the medical, educational, and living expenses of the youngest three boys until they are all 21, then take whatever’s left and split it evenly between all the kids.
