The writers
John Collett is a money writer for The Sydney Morning Herald. Before joining the Herald, John edited the personal finance magazine My Money. He has written about personal finance for the Melbourne Herald Sun and presented financial market and business news for radio.
Barbara Drury is a freelance financial journalist. She writes for The Sydney Morning Herald and Sunday Business newspaper in the UK, and is writing a book on personal finance. Barbara has also written for the Wall Street Journal and The Times, and was a staff writer for the Australian Financial Review and The Australian. She has produced business programs for Channel 9, Reuters TV, BskyB and NHK.
