Description

Christmas is just around the corner and I'm preparing to head home for the holidays. Home being Toronto of course. Who doesn't look forward to heading home for the holidays. What with all the family bickering, travel hassles and enormous credit card bills who wouldn't look forward to the end of the year. I know it's not that bad, but who can't stand a little bit of exageration around this time of year. As always my good friends at the Fray have managed another witty diatribe around this most momentous time of year.

Well this is my first crack at this whole web log thing. I thought I would give it a try and see what comes of it.

I was up in Richland, Washington visiting a friend this past weekend. We came across the under rated Paouloise Falls located North West of Richland. A tenuous traverse across a narrow rock ledge leads to the falls and the Castle Rocks. Castle rocks are unique looking rock fins that stretch like sinuous tendrils towards the sky. After a relaxing soak in the river it was back step by step along the train tracks to the oasis of the parking lot. The camping area and parking lot contained the only trees as far as the eye could see. Water was piped up the steep cliff face to remake the otherwise arrid landscape.
