Mount Anglem Helicopters' new base at Bluff was set up in May 2004. The company was formed by Brian Winsloe and Jason Wright to service the Southern Coast and Stewart Island area.
Brian comes with over 30 years business experience, this included a ferry service and charter boat operation named Stewart Island Adventures. Brian’s knowledge of the area and hunting/fishing experience is very valued to the company. Brian is the Chief Executive Officer of Mount Anglem Helicopters and has vast experience in working around helicopters after many hunting trips where he was transported to and from the Southern Fiords of Fiordland.
Jason comes to us from Foveaux Helicopters, where he had been flying as an instructor/pilot prior to becoming the Chief Pilot of Mount Anglem Helicopters. Jason had been flying for over 2 years in the area and also spent time flying from the companies other bases, Christchurch Helicopters and Auckland Helicopters. Jason’s experience with the tourism industry comprises of various job experiences including, development manager for Brian’s former company Stewart Island Adventures. Prior to that Jason spent years working at Lands End which is a tourist resort, wine bar, bed and breakfast at Stirling Point at Bluff.
