Description

Agnostic: an individual who does not deny the existence of god, but who does not claim to know the truth either way. One who believes there is no way of proving the existence of a supreme being and therefore remains neutral on the belief in God. The term was coined in the 19th century by British scientist Thomas Huxley.

Freethinker: one who rejects authority and dogma, especially pertaining to religion, and instead uses rational inquiry and speculation to form conclusions about ethics and the nature of the universe.

Skeptic: one whose faith in the credibility of evidence is weakened or destroyed, therefore giving religion no practical hold on his thinking.
