- Start with a trio of late-80's rockers, stir in two slightly younger, talented self-taught musicians and you're left with the ragtag bunch that is Charlottetown's Muddy Buddy . Born of past P.E.I. acts you may have known and loved as Curfew, Lending Jane and Adam's Eve, Muddy Buddy has been gaining a steady following since their debut to the music scene in 2004.
- Initially comprised of Ocean 100.3 on air personality Kirk MacKinnon and ex-Adam's Eve drummer-turned-guitarist Greg Stapleton, Muddy Buddy started jamming regularly in MacKinnon's attic but soon realized the band needed a distinctive tone, quickly adding Georgetown native Barry O'Brien. After having established the core group they knew that the band still needed to fill two major roles. Chris "Hot Lixx" LeClair and Chris MacDonald of Curfew fame would be able to bring the most experience and an extraordinary solid lead guitar and hot bass tone to the group.
