Title

Mountain View Christian Fellowship

Description

In May of 1995, a home group formed and quickly grew into two groups by July of that same year. On September 10th, 1995, we held our first Sunday morning worship service at the top of the 90 metre Ski Jump Tower at Canada Olympic Park, one of the venues for the 1988 Winter Olympics. We continued to meet there for the next year, and this unique beginning certainly provided us with a spectacular view! Since then, we’ve changed locations three times, and are currently meeting at the Strathcona-Christie Community Centre via the Coach Hill/Patterson Heights Community Centre.

Among those that attend are those who have been believers for many years and those who have no religious background but are seeking out what the Bible has to say about God and about life. There are also others who have recently committed their lives to Jesus and are learning about living out their new-found faith in their everyday lives.

Mountain View is a church made up of individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences, but we are united in our love for Jesus and the difference He is making in our lives.
