My Astro Shop is a division of Binary Systems Pty Limited established in 1999 and is a fully Australian owned company. We are importers, and retailer / mail order & website online shopping specialists. My Astro Shop was introduced to provide a more convenient service to internet shoppers seeking quality optical products for terrestrial, boating and astronomy needs. We offer a wide range of carefully selected items at genuine discounts.
We are amateur astronomers with over 35 years experience we actively use brands we sell and have thoroughly tested our products for excellent performance and value for money. Steve Massey (proprietor of My Astro Shop and original founder of Astronomy Online) has been actively involved in astronomy since 1971 and is the author of four popular astronomy related books.
Since we have a genuine and active interest in astronomy, we don't offer products that are unsuited to your needs just for the sake of a sale. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and endeavour to do our very best to provide you with the best advice. The founder has authored and published several books on astronomical subjects both locally and overseas and has been a contributing photographer and writer to several other books and periodicals.
