- Tim and Lauren Rossovich founded CCRSF in 2001 in memory of their chow chow Thai Pai. CCRSF works hard to reduce the number of euthanasias performed on adoptable chow chows and their mixes through adoption. Facilitating adoptions can be expensive if a dog is sick or injured. CCRSF vet bills are over $20,000 per year. While the focus is on chow chows and their mixes, CCRSF also rescues dogs that have no chow chow in them at all.
