Description
Early in the ministry of Victory Christian Fellowship the Lord shared with Pastor Robles that this ministry would reach not only Fremont, but also the surrounding communities.
During the past twenty-two years people from cities, towns, and villages around this area have attended services at VCF. Many of these individuals consequently decided to make this their church home.
In 1980 the Holy Spirit prompted Scott Robles to quit his high paying job of four years. Under the direction of God's Spirit, Scott, Bunny, and their two children Bryan and Valerie moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where Scott attended Rhema Bible Training Center. Upon completion of the two year Pastoral Studies program, and with the call of God on their lives, they felt impressed to move back to their hometown of Fremont, and begin a new work for God. Thus, Victory Christian Fellowship opened its doors July 10, 1983 in a gymnasium at Lutz Elementary School. The first service had an attendance of 35 excited people who had prayed for a Word church. With no music, Pastor Robles led praise and worship with confidence and boldness, ushering God's presence into this new work.
