Description
The North American Indian Tennis Association website is to be a clearinghouse for information about Indian Tennis and athletics. We will be developing regional pages, and, if there is sufficient interest, tribal and local program pages. The flexibility of the web format allows us to grow as programs are developed and to customize to meet local tribal and program needs. The tabs under the regional area will point to local programs and locally developed content.
We will be working to develop a higher profile for the NAITA Championship Tournament - as the cornerstone of Indian tennis - in order to encourage the development of youth players and support the competitive adult players. A goal for the coming year is to develop a funding base for the tournament to ensure its long term survival and growth.
We will be the authoritative voice for the NAITA Championship Tournament. Scores, standings, player profiles and other general information will reside on the site. Updates, as they become available, will be here first. We will do our best to be the voice for Indian tennis. We want to make our own seat at the table - not rely on other outlets to cover our events.
