Description
Nafta journal, being published monthly continuously for 54 years, is a journal in which scientific, professional and informative papers from petroleum exploration, production, processing, petrochemistry, economy in petroleum industry, and wide range of other fields, such as ecology, standardization etc, are published. The publishers of the journal are The Croatian National Committee of World Petroleum Congresses and the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts, Council for Petroleum. In addition to R. of Croatia, this year's issues of the journal have subscribers in 48 countries, i.e. in: Albania, Argentina, Angola, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Egypt, Former Republic Macedonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Panama, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South African Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States of America and SiCG, with a tendency of gradual spreading to the countries of Africa, Asia and South America.
The regular circulation is about 1000 specimens/month, while the subscribers are individual petroleum experts, representatives of oil companies, servicing companies, and corporations, scientific institutes, engineering companies, Croatian and foreign diplomatic representatives etc.The majority of the articles (around 95%), news, and information, are printed in English. The rest of the printed articles are in Croatian, with bilingual description of figures, tables and symbols, as well as (usually extended) summary in English.
