My Great grandmother Sarah Thompson Chew started selling antiques in Shrewsbury, England in the 1890’s. Four generations of our family have been involved in the trade, and now we are selling nautical antiques in our retail store and on the internet.
Because of the time we spent boating, sailing, and generally being on and around the water, we decided that we wanted to operate in the highly specialized area of nautical antiques, mid-century marine, and nautical reproductions. Fine products, excellent service, and fair prices are our goals. We are constantly seeking new products for our customers, improving our inventory, and broadening our sources of supply. This year we have brought in shipments from Bangladesh, India, Italy, and Denmark.
Our shop is located on Main Street in Jonesport, Maine. The shop is easy to find. We are open in Spring, Summer and early Fall. If you are traveling far, please call to avoid disappointment. The gales blow through town with great frequency from November thru March. However, the internet section of the business is open 365 days a year, to better serve our customers.
