- 2003: Navigata Communications is recognized as one of the top 20 technology companies in British Columbia. This annual list, compiled by T-Net British Columbia, is widely regarded as the high-tech industry's benchmark for success.
- 2002: Navigata proudly unveils their new corporate identity, Navigata Communications Inc. Their founding commitment is to be more than just another telecom supplier, but a true business partner, with an unwavering focus on a superior customer experience.
- 2001: RSL COM Canada is acquired by SaskTel and becomes a member of the 100% Canadian-owned SaskTel group of companies. SaskTel is the leading full-service communications company in Saskatchewan.
- 1999: Westel Telecommunications Ltd. and Westinghouse Communications Canada, (both purchased in 1998 by RSL Communications Inc.) merge to form RSL COM Canada.
- 1993: The 73 employees of BC Rail become the founding employees of Westel Telecommunications Ltd. Westel builds one of the largest digital telecom networks in British Columbia, extending from Vancouver to Fort Nelson and throughout the province.
- 1972: B.C. Rail Telecommunications is formed.
- 1957: B.C. Rail acquires its first commercial Telecom customer.
