None But The Righteous Internet Edition

I believe I was in about third grade when my teacher asked us if there was anything in the world that did not change. It seemed to me that many things did not change. Steel, I thought, you cannot melt steel. Then I thought water, no. What about ice and steam? Finally I settled on rocks, you couldn’t hurt rocks. Well, of course I was wrong. So I asked my father about my problem. He replied with the old adage, "The only thing that does not change is change itself." At the time I found his answer very unsatisfactory, but over the years I have come to agree. Change is immutable and guaranteed.
On May 10, 2002, NBTR finalized what is for us the biggest of all. On that date, we launched the NBTR Internet edition and suspended our traditional print magazine. While I realize switching to a mostly Internet publishing format might not sit well with some of our readership, so that is why I am planning at least one more print issue. Consider it our farewell issue. If demand warrants, then NBTR will continue publishing a print edition along side an Internet edition.
While the traditional format of NBTR has changed, the philosophy behind NBTR remains absolutely unchanged. We here at NBTR stand for something. I have stated this before, but it bears repeating: I believe that a publication, print or Internet, should not just take a stand willy-nilly, but should stand for something meaningful. NBTR stands for an editorial philosophy of "Not some new age woo-woo." Our philosophy withstands the test of time and tides, proving more vibrant today that ever before.
