New Centerville Rural Volunteer Fire Company has been protecting and serving the community since 1949. We have approximately 80 active firepersons. NCRVFC covers approximately 109 square miles of rural Somerset County. The department is strictly Volunteers. We provide services in Firefighting, Rescue, Farm Rescue, Confined Spaces as well as EMS. In 2004 the department spent a total of 920 man hours in specialized training to better serve the community.
