Description
New England Bankcard Association was founded in 1969 as a credit card and merchant acquiring data processing company for financial institutions throughout New England. NEBA was one of the original regional MasterCharge associations that later formed MasterCard International.
Members can choose to offer a full range of payment system products and services, including credit cards, private label credit or debit cards, ATM and debit cards, stored value cards, ATM processing and merchant acceptance services. Members are not required to offer all products and many choose to only offer one of many payment system products.
NEBA has remained an FDR client since 1981, but we also use a number of other industry vendors to provide a wide range of payment system products and services to our Member banks, including Didier, Global Payments, InteliData, NYCE, Oberthur Card Systems, Paymentech, Star, TASQ and Vital Processing.
