Title
Nebraska Right to Life Committee
Description
Founded in 1973, Nebraska Right to Life is a statewide, non-partisan, nonsectarian, nonprofit organization established to serve groups and individuals who wish to effectively defend the most basic of all human rights - the right to life.
The ultimate goal of Nebraska Right to Life is to restore legal protection to innocent human life. The primary interest of Nebraska Right to Life and its members has been the abortion controversy; however, it is also concerned with related matters of medical ethics which relate to the right to life issues of euthanasia and infanticide. Nebraska Right to Life does not have a position on issues such as contraception, sex education, capital punishment, and national defense.
It is our belief that the protection of human life can only be achieved through a unified, statewide educational and legislative effort that is coordinated with an effective national program.
