ISKCON New Talavan Farm Community

ISKCON New Talavan is a Hare Krsna farm community in the rural Gulf Coast area of southern Mississippi. New Talavan is one of the original centers of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness, a branch of Gaudiya Vaisnavism established by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada visited New Talavan in 1975, making it a transcendental place of pilgrimage for all devotees. New Talavan presently is over 1,200 acres in size, home to about 25 devotees and over 150 cows. We raise a variety of vegetables in a 3-acre organic garden, plus hay, wheat and pasture for our cows.
