Welcome to New Haven Youth & Family Services. We are a multi-service nonprofit agency offering residential treatment, nonpublic school education and foster family services. Here you will find descriptions of our programs, as well as information on employment and internship opportunities and gifting. New Haven began as a residential facility in 1967 and has provided services to over 3,500 children with a wide range of special needs. Our mission is to create an environment where children with special needs are valued and where hope, pride, purpose and health are the result of being part of a therapeutic community. Our values include learning, family integrity, teamwork, the healing power of healthy relationships, commitment to a successful outcome and the strength of community.
