Description
Roberto Anguizola Guardia is a founding partner of NEXUM INTERNATIONAL ADVISORS INC. He is an international banker with over 30 years of experience throughout Latin America and the United States. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of MiBanco S.A. BMF ( a micro lending institution). Until August, 2004 he was Senior Advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Panama , where he provided direct advise in the areas of foreign direct investments, the resolution of pending investment disputes with U.S. investors and the negotiations of Free Trade Agreements with The United States and Singapore. Mr. Anguizola was also an Advisor to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Panama Canal Authority and Member of the Board of Directors of Empresa de Trasmision Electrica S.A. ( ETESA).
He served most recently as Senior Vice President and Head of Credit and Marketing for Banco Latinoamericano de Exportaciones S.A. (BLADEX).
For over 27 years he worked as a high level executive for Bank of America. His latest assignment with Bank of America was as Senior Vice President and Region Executive for International Private Bank, responsible for the East Coast, Europe and Latin America region.
