The solid back prevents hay from falling out of the net while the horse is eating and very little is dropped on the ground. These are excellent for horses that have feed related health issues like Laminitis, Insulin Resistance, Cushings Disease or Obesity Issues. Also perfect for horses that don't have a lot of turn out time like show and race horses or horses that are laid up for injury recovery.
